Notarize a Travel Consent for a Minor Over Zoom from China
International border agents and airlines often require a notarized travel consent letter from the non traveling parent before letting a minor board. We handle it on Zoom in time for your flight.
Why this is hard to DIY
- ! Customs and Border Protection (and equivalents abroad) can deny boarding without a properly notarized consent letter.
- ! Last minute travel is the norm. The consent needs to be in your hand before the flight.
- ! Both parents may need to sign on the same Zoom if both are non traveling.
What you get for $499
- ✓ A scheduled 30 minute Zoom session with a US commissioned notary.
- ✓ Pre flight document review so wording, jurat, and signature blocks pass on the first try.

- ✓ Template letter if you do not have one drafted.
- ✓ Optional wet ink original couriered to your US recipient at cost.

- → Travel dates and destinations.
- → Photo of your US passport.
- → Number of signers on the document.
- → Your filing or closing deadline.

Do I need a physical wet ink original mailed to my US recipient? +
Usually no. The notarized document is accepted nationwide by title companies, courts, banks, and federal agencies. If your specific recipient demands the wet ink original, we courier one. FedEx International Priority at cost plus a $149 handling fee. Typical total is $275 to $325 depending on destination.
Is there a rush fee? +
Same day Zoom slots booked before noon China time are at the standard price. Same day slots booked after noon are an extra $199 when we can fit you in.
What if my recipient rejects the notarized document? +
If it gets rejected because of something we should have caught in pre flight review, we redo the notarization at no charge. If your recipient changes their requirements after the fact, we work with you on a fair fix.
