Notarize an Affidavit or Sworn Statement from China Over Zoom
Affidavits are sworn statements made under penalty of perjury and must be notarized by a US notary to be admitted in US courts and accepted by US institutions. We handle the swearing and notarization in a single 30 minute Zoom session.
Why this is hard to DIY
- ! The jurat (notarization clause) wording must match US federal or state formats. Many self drafted affidavits get rejected for the wrong language.
- ! The signer must appear live before a US notary, swearing or affirming the truth of the contents. There is no shortcut.
- ! Affidavits over one page need every page initialed in a specific way. We walk you through it on the call.
- ! Most online notary services block Chinese IPs. The private session we run does not.
What you get for $499
- ✓ A scheduled 30 minute Zoom session with a US commissioned notary.

Frequently asked
Will a US court accept an affidavit notarized over Zoom? +
Yes. Remote online notarization is recognized by federal courts and the great majority of state courts. If your court has a specific exception, we will tell you before you pay.
How is this different from a notarized statement? +
An affidavit is sworn under oath, where the notary asks you to swear or affirm the truth of the contents. A notarized statement just verifies your identity and signature. We do both on the same call.
I drafted my own affidavit. Will it pass? +
Probably, but we review it first. Common rejections we catch in advance: missing penalty of perjury language, wrong jurisdiction in the jurat, no signature line above the typed name.

Usually no. The notarized document is accepted nationwide by title companies, courts, banks, and federal agencies. If your specific recipient demands the wet ink original, we courier one. FedEx International Priority at cost plus a $149 handling fee. Typical total is $275 to $325 depending on destination.
Is there a rush fee? +
Same day Zoom slots booked before noon China time are at the standard price. Same day slots booked after noon are an extra $199 when we can fit you in.
What if my recipient rejects the notarized document? +
